Most small businesses know AI is changing everything. Few know where to start.

BrilliantR helps small and mid-sized businesses adopt AI and optimize their IT systems — without the guesswork, the bloated contracts, or the hourly billing for work that goes nowhere.

The barrier to entry has collapsed. Most businesses just don't know it yet.

Capabilities that recently required six-figure software licenses, dedicated engineering teams, or months of implementation are now accessible via custom AI builds, API connections, and no-code platforms.

Who this is for: Small and mid-sized businesses — clinics, construction, trades, professional services, and other organizations with roughly 5–200 employees that don't have an in-house IT department.

Too much manual work

Your team is doing repetitive tasks that software should be handling. Every hour spent on data entry or copy-paste is an hour not spent growing the business.

Enterprise tools out of reach

BI dashboards, AI customer support, predictive analytics — these used to require a data team. They don't anymore.

No IT person to turn to

Most small businesses can't justify a full-time IT hire. But that means tools get chosen ad hoc, security gaps go unnoticed, and nobody's asking whether your current setup is actually the right one.

What we can help with

Most small businesses don't have an IT department — and they don't need one. They need a partner who gets the technology, puts the right tools in place, and lets them focus on what they actually do.

Business Intelligence

Natural language dashboards and automated reporting. Ask questions of your own data without SQL, without a data team, without expensive BI licenses.

Customer Communication Agents

AI agents that handle inbound enquiries, qualify leads, respond to reviews, and manage appointment booking — 24/7, in any language.

Document and Invoice Automation

Automated extraction, routing, and processing of invoices, contracts, receipts, and forms. Typical time savings: 80–90% reduction in manual processing.

Security-First AI Builds

Every solution we build is designed with security from the ground up. No shortcuts. No exposed credentials. No leaky integrations.

A model built around your results, not our hours.

For AI automation projects, we use a shared savings model. Here's how it works.

We define the saving

We identify a specific, measurable cost — a software subscription, a manual workflow, a service you're paying for — and agree on the annual value in writing before any work starts.

We quote 50% of that saving

The fee is exactly 50% of the agreed annual saving. If the project saves you $10,000 a year, the fee is $5,000. No surprises.

You pay upfront, we start building

Payment is made before the project begins. This keeps both parties committed and removes any ambiguity about what success looks like.

You get a working solution

Deployed on your own cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud or AWS). You own it. You control it. Running costs are paid directly by you — we have no incentive to over-engineer.

Not every project fits the ROI sharing model. We also offer hourly consulting at $150/hr and a monthly retainer of $1,000/month for 10 hours. New clients get their first 10 hours at $120/hr.

Proof in the numbers, not in the pitch.

The shared-savings model means we only win when you do — and when things go wrong, we know how to fix them. Here's what both look like in practice.

Illustrative example

Invoice processing — accounting firm

~20 hours / month reclaimed
$14,400 annual saving agreed
$7,200 one-time fee — 50%

About 60 invoices a month were being entered by hand — roughly 25 minutes each. Automation now extracts, routes, and files them. The client keeps the entire annual saving, every year after the single one-time fee.

Case study

Recovering a hacked e-commerce website

The situation. A small business owner reached out after discovering their long-running online store had been hijacked. Their website — representing years of built-up search engine credibility — had been silently replaced by a gambling operation. Customers searching for their products were landing on an unrelated gambling site, and the malicious content had begun appearing in Google results under their domain name.

The challenge. This wasn't a simple hack to undo. The attacker had gained deep access to the hosting infrastructure, giving them control over both the website and the domain's DNS routing. That made recovery more complex than just cleaning infected files — we had to rebuild trust in the domain itself before we could restore the site.

What we did

  • Website recovery — identified the attack vector, moved the site to clean infrastructure, and restored the storefront and all e-commerce functionality.
  • Domain & SSL — redirected DNS through a secure registrar path and provisioned a fresh SSL certificate.
  • Email recovery — restored staff email accounts that had been disrupted during the infrastructure change.
  • Stability — diagnosed and resolved a follow-on server overload issue that surfaced after the restoration.

The result. The client's store was back online and processing orders. Staff email was working. And for the first time, the site had proper security tooling in place to catch threats early — security monitoring, fully updated software, and two-factor authentication on every account.

Wonder what automation would save your business? Let's find out — it starts with a conversation, not a contract.

The person behind it

Portrait of the founder of BrilliantR

BrilliantR was founded by a security consultant with over 10 years of experience — a professional hacker, hired to break into companies before the wrong people did. The last 6+ years have been spent on the other side, securing organizations from the inside, and the founder currently serves as Director of Security for an 800-person company.

That background shapes how we build. We know how systems fail, how they get exploited, and what corners not to cut. When we build an AI solution for your business, security and reliability aren't afterthoughts — they're baked in from the start.

Outside of security, the same mindset applies to everything we take on: financial markets — equities and macro — programming, and building internal tools that actually get used. Not prototypes that impress in a demo and collect dust afterward — things that earn their place by making a business faster, leaner, or more profitable.

Born in Denmark, the founder has lived in Finland, Los Angeles, and Austin, and now calls Utah home.
