For AI automation projects, I use a shared savings model. Here's how it works.
We define the saving
We identify a specific, measurable cost — a software subscription, a manual workflow, a service you're paying for — and agree on the annual value in writing before any work starts.
I quote 50% of that saving
My fee is exactly 50% of the agreed annual saving. If the project saves you $10,000 a year, my fee is $5,000. No surprises.
You pay upfront, I start building
Payment is made before the project begins. This keeps both parties committed and removes any ambiguity about what success looks like.
You get a working solution
Deployed on your own cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud or AWS). You own it. You control it. Running costs are paid directly by you — I have no incentive to over-engineer.
Not every project fits the ROI sharing model. I also offer hourly consulting at $150/hr and a monthly retainer of $1,000/month for 10 hours. New clients get their first 10 hours at $120/hr.
The person behind it
I've spent over 10 years as a security consultant — a professional hacker, hired to break into companies before the wrong people did. The last 6+ years I've been on the other side, securing organizations from the inside, and I currently serve as Director of Security for an 800-person company.
That background shapes how I build things. I know how systems fail, how they get exploited, and what corners not to cut. When I build an AI solution for your business, security and reliability aren't afterthoughts — they're baked in from the start.
Outside of security, my passions are financial markets — equities and macro — programming, and building internal tools that actually get used. Not prototypes that impress in a demo and collect dust after — things that earn their place by making a business faster, leaner, or more profitable.
Born in Denmark, I've lived in Finland, Los Angeles, and Austin, and now make my home in Utah with my wife and two kids.
